Call for Sponsors

WordCamp San Francisco 2013 includes two – count ’em! two! – full days of programmed sessions on Friday and Saturday, and a less formal Contribute Day on Sunday. This is the official, annual WordPress conference, and reliably sells out at around 1000 attendees. In 2012, we were joined by nearly 500 livestream attendees from around the world as well!

All of our valued sponsors help support the free and open source WordPress project by donating to WordCamp SF, and without them this event simply would not be possible. We’re super-grateful to all WordCamp sponsors for the support they provide to the WordPress community!

This year, we also plan to offer a limited number of $200 microsponsorships, which will include admission for one person and will be available when general registration opens. These microsponsorships are intended for freelancers, tiny companies, or WordPress fans who wish to give a little more for their WordCamp ticket to support the event.

Golden Gate Park: $30,000

Golden Gate sponsors are the main supporters of WordCamp SF. You’ll be acknowledged in the State of The Word, have the largest presence in the conference hall, and get the biggest thanks on the WordCamp SF site. Here’s how Golden Gate sponsors are acknowledged:

  • Acknowledgment and thanks in opening and closing remarks, and in Matt’s annual keynote, the State of the Word address.
  • Large table (or booth if provided by the sponsor) in the conference hall for two days of customer engagement, recruiting, and hobnobbing.
  • Tweet announcing your sponsorship of WordCamp SF.
  • Inclusion in blog post thanking all Golden Gate sponsors.
  • Inclusion of your logo on between-session projector slideshow.
  • Name and logo on the WordCamp SF site.
  • 6 WordCamp SF tickets reserved for your company representatives.

Presidio Park: $15,000

Want to help us make a great event PLUS a great after party for WordCamp attendees with food and drinks? Here’s how the Presidio sponsor is acknowledged:

  • Acknowledgement at the after party on Saturday, July 27, including a sign with your name and logo.
  • Tweet announcing your sponsorship of WordCamp SF.
  • Inclusion of your logo on between-session projector slideshow.
  • Name and logo on the WordCamp SF site.
  • 4 WordCamp SF tickets reserved for your company representatives.

Buena Vista Park: $7,500

Buena Vista sponsors will have space in the conference hall and on the WordCamp SF site, as described below:

  • Medium table in the conference hall for two days of customer engagement, recruiting, and pressing the flesh.
  • Tweet announcing your sponsorship of WordCamp SF.
  • Inclusion of your logo on between-session projector slideshow.
  • Inclusion in blog post thanking all Buena Vista sponsors.
  • Name and logo on the WordCamp San Francisco site.
  • 4 WordCamp SF tickets reserved for your company representatives.

Lands End Park: $5,000

Lands End sponsors get a small table in the conference hall to meet customers, give swag away, or otherwise do something special for WordCamp attendees. You can sponsor with a Lands End sponsorship on its own or add it to any of our other packages. You’ll also be acknowledged on the WordCamp SF site with your name and logo, and we’ll reserve two tickets for your company representatives as well!

Dolores Park: $1,000

Dolores Park sponsors can give back to the WordPress community at a lower cost than the other sponsorships. If you have a business or product built on WordPress, or you just want to say thanks and support the community, this is a perfect way to do it. You’ll get your name and logo on the WordCamp SF site and the heartfelt thanks of all the attendees.

  • Tweet thanking all Dolores Park sponsors
  • Inclusion in blog post thanking all Dolores Park sponsors.
  • Name and logo on the WordCamp SF site.

When we reach our fundraising goal, we will close sponsorships, so don’t delay if you want to help make WordCamp SF chock-full of awesomesauce! Fill out the form below to inquire about sponsorship:

UPDATE: Thank you to all the fantastic sponsors who helped make WCSF 2013 possible. We have reached our sponsorship goal and are no longer accepting new sponsorships.
